A man running away from a 20-year warrant by Ho Chi Minh City police for a murder charge has been arrested in the north.
Police in Vinh, the capital town of the north central province of Nghe An, on Saturday said they arrested Dang Duc Hao, 39, in hiding in Hanoi and were readying documents to transfer him to Ho Chi Minh City, Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper reported.
Hao started a fight that killed a person in 1994 when he was drunk. He then fled to Hanoi, changed his name to work in factory, got married and has a daughter.
