Vietnam will send 3,000 state officials to attend management courses in foreign countries until 2015 under a plan approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung Friday, the Saigon Tiep Thi reported.

The officials will receive training in management and operational skills needed to implement socio-economic programs, administrative management and human resources development. They will also learn more about public policies, public services and international integration.

The plan aims to have state officials from the central government to commune levels properly trained for their jobs by 2015.
