Customs officers at Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport announced on Friday that they have busted the transport of 2.7 kilograms of synthetic drugs and cocaine about to be sent to Australia by express post.
They found the drugs on Wednesday when checking a package of cosmetics, Vietnam News Agency reported. The drugs were hidden in three cans of face cream.
An unnamed customs official was quoted as saying that local agencies have yet to identify the sender, as they apparently used a fake ID and address.
Investigation continues.
