Police have busted two major drug trafficking gangs in northern Vietnam, seizing more than 43 kilograms of heroin.
Officers from the Ministry of Public Security caught Song A Tenh, 41, in Hoa Binh Province early Wednesday as he was driving a car with 14 kg of heroin to Hanoi, Tuoi Tre newspaper reported.
Later they caught a man called Long with 29 kg in the same province.
The drug was in packs of 330 grams each. In his car, they also found 40,000 ectasy tablets and a gun.
