Hanoi police have arrested another man allegedly involved a computer hacking scheme stealing credit card information to buy over VND2 billion (US$95,215) worth of electronics, a source told Thanh Nien on Monday.
Nguyen Nam Hai, former director of Online Export-Import Solution Company, has been accused of transporting items bought online by Lai Nguyen Khoi and Vuong Huy Long from the US into Vietnam between 2009 and 2011.
The imported items included 1,800 cell phones, 149 computers and 20 cameras.
Hai will be investigated on the charge of "using the Internet to extort others' properties."
Khoi and Long, who were taken into police's custody earlier, are also being probed for the same charge.
Police are investigating.
