Police in the northern province of Hung Yen have arrested five men who allegedly stabbed a transport official to death for warning them to drive carefully.

The five, ranging from 15 and 23 years of age, gave themselves up August 17, a day after the attack, news website VnExpress reported.

To Sy Dung, 21, was the one who stabbed Nguyen Duy Hung, 42, of the provincial Department of Transport. Hung died of blood loss due to multiple knife stabs on his thigh.

He had been driving on the street when he saw three of the five, including Dung, on one motorbike and driving carelessly, jeopardizing other road users' safety, and told them off. Vietnamese laws allow no more than two adults on a motorbike.
