Vietnam, Japan sign aviation agreement

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the Japan International Cooperation Agency Friday signed an agreement pledging to improve the safety and efficiency of the country's aviation by 2015.

Next year Japanese experts will provide Vietnamese experts with training and new flight control techniques which were developed in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization's advises.

Following the agreement, Vietnam will also have chances to obtain new systems of information, navigation, and air traffic supervision and control, as well as latest satellite technologies to guarantee aviation's highest safety and effectiveness.
