Vietnam dog butcher kills colleague in workplace quarrel

Police in Hanoi's Ha Dong District are hunting for a dog butcher who allegedly killed his colleague on December 11 over a personal conflict, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper reported.

Mai Xuan Hiep, 52, stabbed Tran Van Tu in the chest with a knife used for butchering dogs following a quarrel over their work at a dog slaughterhouse in Dong Mai Ward at around 2:30 a.m.

Tu, 21, died despite being rushed to Military Hospital 103.

Hiep fled the scene soon after the stabbing.
