A court in the Central Highlands' Dak Nong Province on Thursday sentenced a man to six years in jail for subversive acts against the government.
The indictment said Dinh Dang Dinh, 49, in 2010 and 2011 had authored 19 documents that aimed to sabotage Vietnam's central government and Central Party, and distributed copies of the documents, Nguoi Lao Dong (Laborer) newspaper reported.
Dinh also colluded with subversives in Vietnam to write reports for foreign organizations, as well as responding to their interview questions, for the same purpose, it said.
He was teaching chemistry at a high school in Dak Nong.
