The first long weekend of the year will be the New Year holiday from January 1-3.
Government offices, state-owned companies and schools will then close from February 6 to 14 for the Tet Lunar New Year, the biggest holiday in Vietnam with many parties and festivals across the country.
On the Hung Kings' death anniversary, everyone will have three days off from April 16-18.
Then there will be another long weekend from April 30 to May 3 to celebrate the Reunification Day and the Labor Day.
From September 2-4, the country will celebrate its National Day.
Businesses in the country usually follow the same public holiday calendar.
