Two people died and 10 others were injured after a 16-seat bus crashed into a truck on a highway section in the Mekong Delta province of Long An early Monday morning.
The accident happened at around 4 a.m. when the bus was traveling from Tien Giang Province to Ho Chi Minh City on the Trung Luong-HCMC Highway.
When it arrived at Long An Province's Ben Luc District, it crashed into a truck that was parked on a lane for emergency stops.
Two passengers on the bus a 67-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman - died on the spot.
Fifteen others were injured and rushed to the hospital.
The bus was carrying 20 people at the time of the accident.
Police are investigating the accident.
On June 13, eight people died and 10 others were injured after a passenger bus crashed into a truck, also on the Trung Luong-HCMC Highway section in Long An.
The bus was heading for Ho Chi Minh City when it hit the truck, which stopped on the Trung Luong Highway after its tires suddenly went flat.
