One person died and another six were injured when a truck crashed into 11 vehicles that had stopped for the red light at an intersection in Ho Chi Minh City Sunday.
The accident happened on National Highway No.1 A. The 10-ton truck was coming in from the An Suong crossroads to the An Lac roundabout, witnesses said.
It crashed into a group of vehicles which had stopped for the red light at the intersection of 1A and Tay Lan in Binh Tan District.
The truck, which belongs to District 11's Transport Co-operative damaged ten motorbikes and one delivery tricycle, killing a 30-year-old man on the spot.
Six people were rushed to the hospital with injuries, including three in critical condition. The identities of the dead person and other victims were yet to be released.
Binh Tan District police are investigating the accident.
