Transport inspector suspended for interfering with public duties

Vietnam’s transport ministry have an suspended a transport inspector who interfered with on-duty police officers while he was drunk in Quang Binh Province on Monday.
Nguyen Duc Viet, 51, is being suspended for 15 days starting Tuesday pending investigation into his violations, transport officials said.
A police source said Viet was drunk when he stopped his car in the middle of the National 1A Road at 7 p.m. Monday, near the site of a car crash.
He demanded that police officers guarding the site to let him inspecting the collision. 
When he was rejected, Viet shouted at the officers and tried to obstruct them, the police said.
A breathalyzer test found his breath alcohol level at 0.65 milligrams per liter; the maximum level allowed is 0.25.

Police have seized his car.
