Rescuers on Saturday found the body of a 17-year-old tourist who allegedly drowned while he was wimming at the Voi Stream in Lam Dong’s Madagui Tourism Area earlier on the same day.
The victim was Nguyen Duc Thien from Lam Dong's Bao Loc Town, who visited the place with his friends on the Reunification holiday (April 30).
The group went swimming in the stream at around 2 p.m.
Thien went missing and rescuers found his body downstream several hours later.
Police are investigating the case.
Located some 125 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City, Madagui in the Nam Cat Tien National Park is a popular tourism destination in the Central Highlands with a total area of 12,000 hectares.
