Ho Chi Minh City authorities will ban motorbikes from traveling through Thu Thiem Tunnel due to a fireworks display for the National Day celebration on Tuesday evening.
The tunnel will close to motorbike traffic from 8:30 p.m. on September 2 to 5 a.m. on September 3.
Motorists who wish to travel from District 1 to District 2 during the closure will have to use the Thu Thiem Bridge.
