Three women were arrested in the southern province of Dong Nai on Wednesday for allegedly killing a local man in a brawl a day earlier.
Provincial police said Nguyen Thi Tuyet Ha, 20, stabbed Phu Tuong Khanh Ngoc many times in the back. Ngoc succumbed to the injuries later in hospital.
Ha, together with Nguyen Thi Tuyet Trinh, 17, and Ha Thi My Hanh, 18, got into a fight with Ngoc and two other friends after their bikes collided on a village road in Xuan Thanh Commune at around 7 p.m. on April 29.
Local residents managed to break up the fight. The two sides left, but half an hour later they came across in another location nearby.
Ha's group attacked Ngoc and his friends, and when Ngoc tried to flee she stabbed him with a knife she carried with her.
The women fled the scene and were hiding in a guest house in the same province when the police found them.
