A Thai tourist died while driving on a national highway in the central province of Nghe An Tuesday, local media reported.
Police in Quynh Luu District said Choeng Chan, 59, was driving a motorbike on National Highway 1A at around 8:30 a.m on December 8 when he spotted a goat crossing the road, reportedly swerved to avoid hitting the animal and fell off.
He did not bleed but his body had turned purple and his heart had stopped beating when he was admitted to a local hospital.
He died within a few minutes of admission.
The Nghe An police are investigating and in touch with the Thai embassy.
