Police in the central province of Nghe An on Saturday said they have rescued two teenage girls from a prostitute ring.

The girls, 14 and 15 years old, of the Thai ethnic minority group, were missing from September 13 when a neighbor named Loc Thi Hong asked them to go with her, the girls' families told the police.

After several days, the girls were seen at a brothel under the cover of a karaoke shop in Quang Binh Province, further south. The girls said they were forced to work for a woman named Nguyen Thi Thoai.

Her husband took them to hotels and they had to serve so many guests a day that they couldn't remember how many, they told the police.

They were rescued by the joint forces from both provinces. Police said they are investigating the case further.
