A South Korean executive of a construction company allegedly died of a stroke in the north central province of Thanh Hoa Sunday.
Choi Hoan Houck, 37, CEO of Chosok Development and Construction Co Ltd, was found lying unconsciously on a chair in a room at the residential block for foreign experts in the Nghi Son Economic Zone early Sunday.
Employees of the block rushed him to Tinh Gia District General Hospital, but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
The cause of his death is still being investigated. No official announcement has been made, but initial investigations showed he may have died of a stroke.
On Sunday afternoon, his body was handed over to his family under the witness of South Korean agencies in Vietnam.
The body will be brought back to South Korea.
The Chosok company is currently in charge of building embankments and installing concrete piles for the Nghi Son deep-water port project.
