Ho Chi Minh City police are investigating a burglary at the house of singer Minh Hang after her family said her property  worth some VND1.6 billion (US$71,000) was stolen.
The theft occurred at the 3-story villa of the 28-year-old singer on Bui Ta Han Street in District 2’s An Phu Ward, located in a neighborhood with many local riches and foreigners.
Hang's elder brother Le Ngoc Minh Hai told the police he found the house was broken in after returning home in the midnight on December 25.
“My sister's room was messed up and her property was stolen,” he said.

Hai said the stolen property included a bag valued at $30,000, a wristwatch about $25,000, a diamond ring and cash of VND400 million.
Police are investigating the case.
Hang has also played in many movies since 2005 and became widely-known in the movie Goi giac mo ve in 2007.
