Around 200 Vietnamese workers have been arrested as Russian agencies raided ten illegal tailoring factories in Moscow recently.
The raid was conducted by a joint force of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Federal Security Service, immigration agencies and the police, according to Moscow Internal Affairs Department.
Police seized 80 sewing machines at the facilities.
The factories are located in an area in Orekhovo-Zuyevo City that is known for making sport wear knockoffs of famous brands. The products are sold in malls in the city’s southeastern region.
Moscow agencies have launched a probe into illegal migration services.
