In Ho Chi Minh City, robbers spare no chance.
A security camera has recently captured the moments a reckless robber rushed in to snatch a handbag from a woman right in front of her house.
At 3:45 a.m. on April 5, the woman and her husband returned to their house in District 4, which is also a phone shop and quite close to a police station.
When the husband, identified only as K., was opening the door, a young man suddenly appeared out of nowhere and tried to grab the bag from the wife.
She tried to hold on to the bag and collapsed.
As the man could not get the bag, he fled the scene. K. chased after him.
The one-minute surveillance video clip ended there.
After that, K. reportedly chased after the robber, who jumped onto a scooter driven by his accomplice. K. kicked the robber, forcing him to fall off the vehicle, but he still managed to flee eventually.
K. said there was also a third man on a scooter waiting for the two robbers nearby.
The woman had minor shoulder and arm injuries after falling to the ground.
