The bodies of a Vietnamese Dutch woman and her two children who all perished in the MH17 disaster will be repatriated next week, news website Kien Thuc (Knowledge) reported.
The website cited the three victims’ family as saying that the Vietnamese embassy in the Netherlands is finalizing procedures to return their remains to Hanoi on November 13.
Nguyen Ngoc Minh, 37, her daughter Dang Minh Chau, 17 and son Dang Quoc Duy, 13, were all born in Vietnam but later acquired Dutch citizenship.
They were returning to Hanoi from the Netherlands for their summer holiday when the Malaysia Airlines flight was shot down over the Ukraine on July 17, killing all 298 people on board.
On October 9, Dutch authorities announced they had identified the three Vietnamese Dutch victims.
The year before their fateful flight, Dang Quoc Thang, Minh’s husband, was killed in a train accident in the Netherlands.
