A container truck struck a public bus and forcing it to crash into a house in the central province of Quang Ngai, Sunday. Seven people were severely injured.
Eyewitnesses said the truck while trying to pass other vehicles grazed the bus, which was travelling in the opposite direction, Dan Tri reported.
The bus was full of passengers, most of which were students, and spun nearly 180 degrees before crashing into a home, 30 meters from the roadside.
People inside happened to be gathered at the rear of the house, so none of them were injured. However, the crash destroyed part of the home's facade.
The bus suffered frontal damage. Local residents rushed to save the driver, whose leg was caught in the passenger door.
Taxis from Mai Linh Transport Corp., which owns the bus, have arrived to take the injured to hospital.
A police investigation into the crash is currently underway.
