The Ninh Thuan Province police have arrested four hotel managers for allegedly being members of a hi-end prostitution ring that supplies young sex workers to clients.

The four are Nguyen Tan Tai, 41, his wife To Thi Kim Loa, 34, Dao Thi Hoa, 52 and Le Van Thanh, 44.

Colonel Phan Van Chinh said the police raided two hotels in Phan Rang – Thap Cham town on October 31 after months of monitoring the gang.

They caught four sex workers aged 21-22, who said they were pimped by the four.

“Tai and his wife allowed the sex workers to live in their house and sent them to hotels whenever a client wanted,” Chinh said.

Each sex worker charged VND500,000-1.5 million (US$22.5-67.5) and paid the managers half the amount.

Chinh said the gang operated secretly and had links with many hotels and guest houses in Phan Rang – Thap Cham and Khanh Hai towns.

The police are investigating six other hotels in the province that may have been involved with the gang.

Tai and his wife also sent sex workers to nearby provinces, they said.
