For some people, the weekend party does not stop on Sunday night.
Police in Hanoi are looking for the driver of a sedan that carried six women and blasted out loud music around the city on Monday June 29.
One of them stood up, with her upper body outside the window, and danced.
A video, released online a few days later, captured the whole scene.
A motorbike driver ran along the car and gave the dancer a high five. The man did not wear a crash helmet.
Under Vietnam’s traffic laws, the driver of the car can be fined VND300,000-500,000 (US$14-23) for carrying two people instead of one in the front seat, and another VND100,000-200,000 for not making them wear seat belts.
An officer told news website Zing that the act of leaning outside a car and dancing was also an offense.
“The woman could have been in danger if the car had collided with another vehicle.”
