One was killed and three others were injured when a truck crashed into dozens of motorbikes waiting at a red light in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday.
The crash happened at the intersection near Vinh Loc Industrial Park in Binh Tan District at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
The truck driver, 39-year-old Pham Van Vu, seemed to lose control of the vehicle and crashed into the crowd. Three motorbikes were swept underneath the truck and another bike was thrown away.
Dozens of motorbike riders tried to drive away in panic.
After the truck stopped, nearby people rushed to the site and pulled a woman, who was stuck under the truck, out. She was seriously injured while three others sustained minor injuries.
The four were rushed to a hospital. The woman, 21-year-old Nguyen Thi My Anh, died in Wednesday morning, the Binh Tan police said.
