A car mysteriously caught fire on a road in the northern Vietnamese province of Hung Yen Wednesday, but no injuries were reported.
The vehicle was traveling through Yen My town when it hit a pothole, and Nguyen Van Hung, the driver, said the car shook and smoke billowed from the engine.
He pulled over and opened the doors for the four others inside to get out.
A fire then burnt down the car until only its frame remained by the time the local police arrived.
The mishap blocked traffic on the road.
The police are investigating.
