Men suspected of poaching endangered monkeys in southern Vietnam

Police in Binh Phuoc Province are investigating two men for wildlife protection violations as they were caught with guns and wild animals, including the endangered douc langur.

Tran Duc Trung, 24, and Pham Minh Chi, 42, were caught on the street in possession of a sloth, a langur and four langur feet.

Police suspect that Trung and Chi, from the neighboring Binh Duong Province, were coming back from a hunt as they were carrying two homemade guns and a significant amount of ammunition.
