A huge fire broke out at Nhat Tan Market in Hanoi on Thursday afternoon, destroying nearly every store in the 4,000 square meter structure. No casualties have been reported.
Twenty fire engines and hundreds of firefighters were dispatched to the market after the blaze broke out at around 1 pm. The flames were brought under control an hour later.

The fire started at kiosks selling votive paper and plastic products in the western end of the building and spread quickly due to high winds, witnesses said.
A vegetable vendor named Suu told Vietnam News Agency that she heard a blast and saw the flames spread quickly along the market's electrical wiring.
Police are still investigating the cause of the inferno.
