A man was killed when glass sheets under which he was sleeping collapsed in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday.
La Trung Hieu, a 31-year-old Phung Giang glass factory worker in Tan Binh District, was not retrieved from the pile of glass and bricks until two hours after the accident.
He died from cuts caused by the glass all over his body, VnExpress reported.
Witnesses said the big glass sheets were leaning against a wall, and Hieu was taking a nap in between the glass and the wall. The heavy sheets broke the wall, and made it collapse.
No one else was hurt, according to VnExpress.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
