Police in northern Vietnam are investigating the death of a man whose relatives allege he died after falling out of a bed in an overloaded sleeper bus.
Bui Duy Hien, 47, of the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak boarded a bus to Nghe An last Thursday, the police said.
He got off the bus the next day in Nghe An's Quynh Luu District, his native place.
Soon he complained of dizziness and was admitted to the local general hospital, where he died.
His relatives claimed that during the trip, the bus crew had put up more than one passenger in each berth and Hien fell out of one such crowded bed.
The police said the cause of his death is not known yet, and an autopsy would be done on Saturday.
But they have seized the bus pending investigation.
