Police in the northern province of Quang Ninh are questioning a man caught trafficking 32 pieces of animal parts, suspected to be bear limbs, Wednesday.
Nguyen Huu Tung, 33, faces charges of illegally trafficking endangered wildlife products, the police said, adding they are looking for a Chinese man who hired Tung to transport the parts to Mong Cai town.
Tung said he was paid VND500,000 for carrying them on a motorbike.
Investigations are continuing.
Illegal trade in wild animals carries a jail term of up to seven years and a fine of VND50-500 million (US$2,400-24,000).
