Malaysian caught using fake credit cards in HCMC

The Ho Chi Minh City police have arrested a Malaysian man for allegedly using fake credit cards to buy luxury bags at a shopping mall in the city.
Leong Sau Voon, 29, was arrested on March 15 at the Unionsquare mall on Dong Khoi Street soon after he bought three handbags at Dior for a total of VND205 million (US$9,200).
The employee, who suspected the three credit cards, reported to the police.

He confessed to buying the fake cards in Malaysia through a Facebook page for $1,650.
Police are looking for other suspects in the case.
Last October the city police had arrested a 30-year-old Malaysian man for using fake credit cards.
For Zheng Yi was arrested while using six fake credit cards to buy flight tickets. Yi confessed that a Malaysian man had hired him to withdraw money in HCMC using the fake cards.
