French fashion brand Louis Vuitton has announced it will build a new dorm for students at the SOS Children Village's Herman Gmeiner School in Nha Trang.

The plan is part of the French company's five-year partnership with SOS, an international non-governmental association.

The new dormitory, expected to cost around VND4 billion (US$200,000), will house 350 of the school's 1,000 students.

Louis Vuitton has previously donated around $500,000 to SOS Chidlren's Villages around the world.

SOS works to develop education, provide financial support to poor families, and prevent child labor abuse.
