Ho Chi Minh City Police say they've arrested two men responsible for numerous late-night robberies in the past three months.
Nguyen Khanh Dien, 20, and Nguyen Huu Chien, 19, typically struck between 9 p.m. and  4a.m., police said.
So far, they've linked them to 18 victims in Districts 3, Binh Thanh, Phu Nhuan and the outlying Go Vap District.
The two men allegedly preyed on people carrying bags or cell phones, VietNamNet reported.
On June 18, police arrested them for stealing the motorbike of a woman who was knocked unconscious during a traffic accident on Le Quang Dinh Street in Binh Thanh District.
Chien was arrested while driving her bike the same afternoon; Dien was later seized at a hotel.
Police have asked victims to come forward to help with the investigation.
