Police from Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security arrested a fugitve from South Korean justice Tuesday.
Cha Je Kiy 44 and his partner, Nam Kuk Heon, were alleged of cheating US$678,000 out of 139 people in South Korea before fleeing to Ho Chi Minh City.
The pair was deported in mid July of last year, after their visas expired.
After returning to South Korea, police alleged the two continued to swindle, until returning to Vietnam on February 24.
South Korea's international police reached out to Vietnamese authorities, asking them to track down the two men. In April, Hoen was arrested in HCMC.
Kiy moved from place to place until he was nabbed at a hotel in District 1, police said.
