Hundreds of visitors flee Vietnam resort fire
Hundreds of people burst out in a mad run as three beach restaurants in the northern province of Thanh Hoa went on fire Saturday night.
News website VietNamNet reported that the fire started at around 7:30 p.m. from a kitchen of one restaurant at Hai Hoa resort and quickly spread to the two next door, causing damage estimated to total some VND3 billion (US$140,900).
No casualties were reported.
It took more than half an hour for local forces to put out the fire.
Police are investigating the cause of fire.
