More than 100 new motorcycles were completely destroyed by a blaze at a dealership in the southern Vietnamese province of Binh Duong Friday night.
People living near Tan Long Van Company in Thuan An Town said they saw smoke rising from the warehouse behind the company’s office at around 10:30 p.m.
The fire spread quickly to the street front showroom where hundreds of motorcycles were on display.
More than 15 fire engines and 50 firefighters were unable to put out the flames 2 a.m. by which time the damage had been done. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
Around 110 motorcycles and a number of equipment were burned to ashes, with losses estimated to reach billions of dong.
The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
