Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat Airport customs agents seized VND2 billion (US$94,000) worth of narcotic pills on Monday.
They said the pills were imported from France and bound for Cambodia.
The batch includes 30,000 pills that were listed as forbidden goods, according to a goods in transit agreement signed last December by Vietnam and Cambodia, authorities say.
The parcels were imported into the airport by Kim Quang, a local transportation company.
An investigation remains underway.
