The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City will hold its 20th International Charity Bazaar to raise charity funds for disadvantage Vietnamese on November 23.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m. and running until 2 p.m., the fair will see a wide range of international goods and food for sale.

Visitors can also purchase raffle tickets priced at VND50,000 (US$2.37) with prizes worth more than $100 including one return airline ticket from HCMC to any destination served by Vietnam Airlines, other return airlines tickets (to France, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, China, Philippines, Dubai, etc.), 5-star resort and hotel stays (in Da Nang, Nha Trang, Con Dao, Vung Tau, Phan Thiet, etc), spa packages, lunch and dinner vouchers at luxury restaurants in HCMC, and more.

A Santa Claus will present at the event to add the Christmas atmosphere. He will have his photo taken with children and adults alike.

This year's charity fair is expected to attract both expatriates and Vietnamese in numbers that should exceed last year's 2,000 attendees.

Entry tickets cost VND100,000 for adults. Children under ten accompanied by an adult can enter free of charge.

Proceeds from the 20th International Charity Bazaar are redistributed to help those less fortunate in the community.

Projects supported by the Consular Club through funds generated from the International Charity Bazaar range from scholarships, to medical care, providing water wells, building
bridges, schools and more.

The Consular Club of HCMC is comprised of members from the various diplomatic missions in the city. All Consular Club members volunteer their time to work towards improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged in Vietnam.

The event will take place at the White Palace Convention Centre, 194 Hoang Van Thu Street, Ward 9, Phu Nhuan District.
