Ho Chi Minh City cabbie dies after losing control of taxi, hitting motorbikes, crashing into tree

Police in Ho Chi Minh City are investigating a road crash Tuesday in which a taxi swerved out of control and hit three motorbikes and a tree, leaving the driver dead.
Vinasun taxi driver Nguyen Quang Son, 33, lost control of the vehicle while driving down Khanh Hoi Bridge in District 4, hit a motorbike, crashed into another and ran over it, and only stopped after hitting a motorbike vending some stuff and slamming into a tree.
The motorbike riders suffered slight injuries.
Son was rushed to hospital, but doctors said he was dead on arrival. His body had turned black and blue. The cause of death is not known yet.
It is not clear what caused Son to lose control, but the taxi had a flat tire.
