Police in Ho Chi Minh City are searching for a four-seater that ran away after colliding with a Danish man on a motorbike in District 2 and causing his death on Saturday morning. 
Walther Bilde, 51, succumbed to severe injuries at Gia Dinh Hospital hours after the incident, which happened at around 1:25 a.m. on Mai Chi Tho Street, near the Thu Thiem Tunnel.
Police said the runaway vehicle was a red car. Its license plate number is still unknown.  
Bilde was the founder of Saigon Vespa Tour, which provides city tours and short trips to neighboring provinces on motorbikes. 
He was reportedly heading for District 2 when the crash happened. 
Police said they are examining traffic camera recordings and talking to witnesses.
