The Hanoi city government has approved a plan to expand the road to Noi Bai International Airport for US$115 million.
Accordingly, 3.14 kilometers of Pham Van Dong Street along Belt Road No.3 will be widened from 51 to 68 meters. The belt road 65 kilometers long runs through seven districts in the capital.
Two flyovers will be built at the intersection of Hoang Quoc Viet and Co Nhue Streets, according to a report on news website Dan Tri Friday.
The Transport Ministry expects to complete the project in two years.
About 21 hectares of land will be needed for the project, which has been given to two investors Song Da-Viet Duc Investment JSC and Lilama Urban Development and Construction Investment JSC.
