The third edition of charity event Kermesse returns to Ho Chi Minh City this Sunday with the promise of a fun-filled family day including activities on and off stage.
The event, organized by French charity Poussières de Vie and which attracted more than 10,000 visitors last year, will take place at Saigon Zoo on Le Duan Street to raise money for street children.
People and their children will gather for races and collective games that will offer many prizes.
There will be dance performances, circus sideshows, live concerts, and two lucky draws, besides French and Vietnamese food served by popular city restaurants.
Poussières de Vie, which was created in 2003 to help street children in HCMC and Kon Tum Province in the Central Highlands, works with more than 500 children aged from six to 18, teaching them Vietnamese, English, and computer skills to help them get rid of poverty.
