Australian charity Trinh Foundation has called for donations during the Australia Day fundraising events which will be celebrated in Ho Chi Minh City on January 22.
The donated items must be in good condition. All donations books, CDs, DVDs, sporting gear, clothing, jewellery, kitchen items, non-perishable food, working electrical items, and more will be sold from traditional Australian trash-and-treasure stalls on Aussie Day.
Donations can be made at Mekong Merchant Restaurant, 23 Thao Dien Street, District 2, Australian International School, 36 Thao Dien or 21 Pham Ngoc Thach, District 3, and at the office of Australia Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (AusCham), 31A Nguyen Dinh Chieu, District 1.
Trinh Foundation Australia Ltd. is an independent, voluntary, non-profit organization which helps improve the quality of life of Vietnamese children and adults suffering from communication and swallowing disorders.
AusCham will host Aussie Day, a community event featuring food, beverages, entertainment and charity events, at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, 702 Nguyen Van Linh Boulevard, District 7.
