Police are trying to identify a foreign man believed to have jumped off from the eighth story of a hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City early Wednesday.
The incident happened at around 5 a.m. at a four-star hotel on Thi Sach Street in District 1.
A hotel employee heard a loud sound and found the body of a man in an adjacent alley.
Witnesses said they saw the man in pants and without any shirt climbing out from the hotel’s balcony on the eighth floor. Then he jumped off.
Police said the victim was a foreigner of about 30 years old.
The victim’s body has been sent to a morgue for further investigation.
