A local man and a foreign tourist rescued a baby boy who was drowning in a lake in the resort town of Da Lat on Monday.
The incident happened at around noon when the baby's 30-year-old mother failed to stop the stroller from being blown down into the Xuan Huong Lake by a sudden gust of wind, local media quoted witnesses as saying.
Two men at the site, including a foreign tourist, saved the baby.
“The foreign man quickly jumped in after throwing away his phone and belongings. The lake is about two meters deep,” said a Pokemon hunter at the site.
The two men quickly left after rescuing the baby. Their identities remain unknown.
