Stills captured from the security camera at an ATM booth in Nha Trang town show Kaprelov Nersezov (L) and Iulian Dumbarava installing electronics to skim information

Police in the resort town of Nha Trang on Wednesday night caught a Bulgarian and a Romanian using electronic devices to steal customers’ personal information from an ATM booth.
Eduard Kaprelov Nersezov, 46, from Bulgaria and Iulian Dumbarava, 26 told the police they came to Vietnam for ATM skimming. The stolen card information and PIN numbers would be sent back to a person in Bulgaria known only as Bobi.
Bobi promised that they would be shared half of the money stolen, they said.
A local police source said a group of officers had secretly followed the two after being tipped off from a bank about a group of foreigners installing cameras and eletronics devices in local ATM booths.
Police later found in their hotel rooms electronic devices used for ATM skimming.
Another Bulgarian national was arrested early this month in Ho Chi Minh City when he attempted to use fake credit cards to withdraw money from local ATM booths.
