If there's an award for the craziest thing people carry on their bikes in Vietnam, this trio will win.
Traffic police in Hanoi on Thursday stopped three motorbikes pulling metal roofing sheets as long as a bus on a busy street during morning rush hour.
Police said the vehicles, all attached to modified trailers, measure 13 meters in length each, adding that the men were moving one after another, causing a massive traffic jam at a roundabout.

Each of the seized vehicles measures 13 meters in length.
The three riders, aged 21 to 29, said that they had been hired to transport several tons of roofing sheets from Son Tay District to Bat Trang Village, which are dozens of kilometers apart.
According to the trio, they had already made many trips during night time to avoid being caught.
A traffic policeman said this is the first time his team seized such a long homemade vehicle.
Necessity is indeed the mother of inventions.
